Uncoilers are special equipment for leveling metal sheets, and their body is usually a welded box-shaped structure. In actual application, the uncoiler is arranged at the front end of the unit entrance part, corresponding to the steel coil trolley. For example, at the entrance of the continuous annealing unit, the uncoiler works in conjunction with the steel coil trolleys numbered 1 and 2. It can also unwind while maintaining the strip tension, and realize automatic centering of the strip under central control. Conventional continuous unwinding and color coating units are usually equipped with two unwinders, which work alternately to create conditions for the continuous production of subsequent equipment.
Structurally, the reel of the unwinder is a hollow shaft supported by two bearings on the gear box. Its mandrel is a cantilever structure, and the front end is supported by an external support bearing during unwinding to maintain the rigidity and stability of the machine body.
