Levelers play an important role in many engineering fields such as construction and road construction. The following are some tips and knowledge about the use of levelers.
The first is preparation before use. Carefully survey the construction site, remove ground debris and obstacles, etc., to ensure that the site is flat and tidy. At the same time, a comprehensive inspection of the leveler should be carried out, including whether the various parts of the machine are normal, whether the hydraulic system has leaks, whether the oil volume is sufficient, etc., to ensure that the machine performs well.
There are also key points when starting the operation. If it is a crawler leveler, determine the position of the drive wheel, honk the horn and start walking slowly. On a flat road, you can drive in the appropriate gear. When going up and downhill, you should choose the corresponding gear, such as "1" gear on a flat ground and "0" gear on a slope. Try to choose a flat road during the walking process to avoid the upper turntable from rotating. Prevent rocks from damaging the machine on a bad ground. Drive straight on a slope and control the distance between the bucket and the ground. If you encounter slippage and tilting, you should put down the bucket immediately. If you shut down the engine on the slope, you should handle it correctly before restarting.
During the leveling operation, the scraper or blade of the leveler should be adjusted according to the ground conditions. When adjusting, make sure that it is in even contact with the ground to ensure flatness. When operating, keep a constant speed and steady hand gestures to avoid speeding up and slowing down to affect the effect. If you encounter special terrain, such as wet soil, avoid violent steering and sudden stops; adjust the angle of the components reasonably when there are obstacles. Flexible use of these techniques under different project requirements and site conditions can make the leveler work efficiently and help the project proceed smoothly.
